FOODEE GLOBAL CONCEPTS is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and preventive upkeep across our F&B portfolio in Mandaluyong and surrounding areas. You will lead technicians, coordinate with operations, and ensure assets meet safety and regulatory standards while controlling costs.
The role requires 3+ years of multi-unit maintenance management, strong leadership, and proficiency in CMMS and MS Office. Travel between outlets and after-hours support may be necessary.
As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and preventive upkeep of all outlets, facilities, equipment, and engineering systems across our F&B portfolio in Mandaluyong and surrounding areas. You will ensure that all physical assets are functional, safe, compliant with regulatory standards, and operated in a cost-efficient manner. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate with Operations, Engineering, vendors, and project partners, and report to senior management.
Plan, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all restaurant outlets, kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and facility infrastructure.
Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, respond to breakdowns, and ensure minimal downtime for all outlets.
Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and procurement of spare parts and equipment.
Establish and monitor budgets, maintenance KPIs, asset lifecycle, cost control, and equipment replacement planning.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and food-service regulatory standards (e.g., sanitary, fire safety, and electrical) and internal policies.
Collaborate with Operations, Store Management, Facilities, and Engineering teams to schedule maintenance around business hours and minimize disruption.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and support staff; assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, asset registers, and service logs, and generate reports for management review.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, energy savings, and reliability improvements, and implement best practices.
Participate in new store openings, equipment installations, or store refurbishments by providing maintenance input and handover plans.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in managing store or multi-unit facility maintenance operations, preferably within the food & beverage, hospitality, retail, or restaurant environment.
Strong leadership and team-management skills, with experience supervising technicians, contractors, and vendors.
Proven track record in preventive maintenance planning, reactive repair management, asset lifecycle, and cost control.
Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire/safety systems in a commercial, retail, or foodservice context.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations, building codes, food service facility requirements, and maintenance best practices.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to prioritize, plan, and execute under pressure.
Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; able to liaise across different levels of the organization.
Proficient in using maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar software and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to generate maintenance reports and dashboards.
Willingness to travel between sites/outlets as required, with flexibility to respond to emergencies outside regular hours when needed.
