Job summary

The Rigging Corporation is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee fleet, heavy equipment maintenance and related assets. You will drive reliable operations, safety, and cost optimization across trucks, trailers, and equipment.

Lead a team of supervisors and mechanics, develop preventive maintenance programs, and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely, high-quality service. This in-person role is based at our Laguna Calamba Yard and requires strong leadership and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related technical field.
• Experience in fleet/heavy equipment maintenance, preferably in logistics/rigging.
• Experience managing maintenance teams, supervisors and mechanics.
• Strong knowledge of trucks, trailers, hydraulics, engines and mechanicals.
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning and reliability.
• Knowledge of budgeting, spare parts inventory and vendor management.
• Leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze maintenance data and prepare reports.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules and procedures.
• Ensure units are safe, roadworthy and compliant with standards.
• Lead maintenance supervisors, mechanics and personnel.
• Monitor equipment performance, diagnose issues and apply fixes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for repairs.
• Manage budgets, control repair costs and reduce expenses.

About the Role

The Rigging Corporation is looking for an experienced and results-driven Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage the overall maintenance operations of our fleet, heavy equipment, and related assets. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and operational efficiency of all trucks, trailers, and equipment while optimizing maintenance costs and minimizing operational downtime.

The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, proven leadership experience, and the ability to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies that support the company’s logistics and heavy equipment operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure fleet reliability and operational readiness.
• Ensure all units are safe, roadworthy, and compliant with applicable safety standards and maintenance requirements.
• Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance supervisors, mechanics, and other maintenance personnel.
• Monitor equipment performance, diagnose recurring issues, and implement corrective and preventive solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, parts vendors, and external service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.
• Manage maintenance budgets, control repair expenses, and identify opportunities to reduce operational costs.
• Oversee inventory management of spare parts, tools, lubricants, and other maintenance supplies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, performance reports, and cost analyses.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment availability, maintenance costs, downtime, and repair efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, equipment utilization, and overall operational efficiency.
• Provide regular reports and recommendations to management regarding fleet condition, maintenance performance, and equipment replacement needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related technical field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
• Proven experience in fleet maintenance, heavy equipment maintenance, or a similar role, preferably in logistics, transportation, construction, or rigging operations.
• Previous experience managing maintenance teams, supervisors, and mechanics.
• Strong technical knowledge of trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, hydraulic systems, engines, and related mechanical components.
• Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability management.
• Knowledge of maintenance budgeting, cost control, spare parts inventory, and vendor management.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze maintenance data, prepare reports, and implement process improvements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to be assigned at the Calamba Yard, Laguna.
