Outpost Hostel Inc. is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to run day‑to‑day maintenance at one island property. You will lead a trio of technicians, oversee safety, and keep guest‑facing facilities like rooms, pools, and restaurants in top condition.
The role blends hands‑on repair with leadership, mentoring staff, and coordinating with Operations, Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Front Office to ensure reliable, guest‑ready operations across the site in Coron or El Nido.
At Outpost Hostels, every unforgettable guest experience starts with a property that runs safely, smoothly, and reliably.
We're looking for a hands‑on Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor who can lead a small team while taking ownership of the maintenance and engineering operations of one of our island properties.

Coordinate contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and projects.
Monitor maintenance inventories, tools, equipment, and spare parts.
Recommend facility improvements, upgrades, and cost‑saving initiatives.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and government regulations.
Work closely with Operations, Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Front Office to keep the property operating at its best.
Has at least 3 years of experience leading a maintenance or engineering team.
Has experience in hotels, resorts, hostels, commercial buildings, hospitals, manufacturing, or facilities management.
Is knowledgeable in electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, air‑conditioning, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Enjoys leading people while remaining hands‑on with repairs and troubleshooting.
Can prioritize work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
Has strong problem‑solving, planning, and communication skills.
Takes pride in keeping facilities operating at a high standard.
Technical certifications such as TESDA NC II, Electrical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related trades are an advantage but not required.
Free staff accommodation
Free daily meals
Government‑mandated benefits
Company‑issued motorbike with fuel allowance for work‑related use
Career growth opportunities within a growing hospitality group
Work and live in the beautiful island destinations of Coron or El Nido
Within your first 90 days, you will:
Build a reliable preventive maintenance program.
Improve response times for maintenance requests.
Reduce recurring equipment breakdowns.
Keep guest‑facing facilities consistently operational.
Develop a motivated, accountable maintenance team.
Help create a safer and more efficient property for both guests and staff.
