Job summary

Outpost Hostel in Coron, Palawan is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily hostel operations and drive guest satisfaction. You will coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless service, optimize occupancy, and safeguard standards.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and strategic reporting to boost efficiency and revenue while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a hostel, boutique hotel, hospitality, or high-volume food and beverage environment.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams, coaching employees, and driving performance improvements.
• Strong operational management experience with the ability to coordinate multiple departments effectively.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to decision-making.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with guests, staff, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the hostel to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery.
• Foster an exceptional guest experience by addressing feedback, resolving concerns, and maintaining high service standards.
• Coordinate and monitor housekeeping, maintenance, and other operational teams to ensure the property is well-maintained.
• Manage reservations, occupancy levels, and operational performance to maximize efficiency and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with cleanliness, health, safety, and company policies across all areas of the hostel.
• Oversee inventory management, budget control, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Generate operational reports, analyze performance metrics, and contribute to strategic planning and business development.
