Job summary

OceanaGold’s Didipio mine in the Philippines seeks an Engineer - Maintenance (Technical Writer) to create formatted SOPs, SWIs and other documents for safety and quality. The role supports the maintenance department by producing high-standard documents using MS Word and related tools to ensure work is performed safely and to required specifications.

The position requires an Mechanical or Electrical engineering background and experience in mining or heavy industries, with the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree.
• Experience in mining or other heavy industries.
• Technical knowledge of earthmoving, mining and minerals processing equipment maintenance techniques.
• Delivery of work as per deadlines, multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Develop written safe working procedures (SOP), Safe Work Instructions (SWI) and other related technical documents for the maintenance department.
• Ability to use MS Word and other document development software to produce high standard documents.
