Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation in the Philippines seeks an Engineer—Maintenance (Technical Writer) to develop properly formatted SOPs, SWIs and other technical documents for the maintenance department to ensure safe work and high quality execution.

The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree with mining or heavy industry experience and the ability to produce high‑standard documents using MS Word. On-site accommodation, health insurance, and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Educational background: Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree.
• Knowledge: Technical knowledge of earthmoving, mining and minerals processing equipment maintenance techniques.
• Abilities: Delivery of work as per deadlines, Multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Develop written safe working procedures (SOP), Safe Work Instructions (SWI) and other related technical documents for the maintenance department.
• Ability to use word processing software (MS Word) and other documents development software to produce high standard documents.
• Ensure proper formatting and detailed SOPs/SWIs for safe and quality work execution.
