Job summary

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and safety of critical manufacturing equipment for magnetics and cables. The role focuses on improving uptime, quality, and cost efficiency through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will report to the Maintenance Engineering Manager. You will own equipment, drive improvements, and support new equipment introduction, while collaborating with Production,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related).
• 2+ years hands-on maintenance/equipment engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Own critical production equipment; ensure safety, capability, capacity and quality.
• Improve uptime and performance via preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions.
• Lead equipment qualification for new equipment; manage URS, FAT/SAT, and handover.
• Support SPC, process control, and documentation; train operators and maintenance staff.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, and R&D for NPI and continuous improvement.
• Support line balancing, takt time analysis, and cost-reduction initiatives.
