You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, replace worn parts, maintain logs, and assist with new chiller installations while upholding strict safety standards and collaboration with other teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in air conditioning and refrigeration.
• Strong knowledge of chiller systems and refrigeration cycles.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing refrigeration equipment with proper tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.

About the role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician (Chiller) to join the team at Q.C. Styropackaging Corporation / Multiplast Corporation. This is a full-time position based in Santa Maria, Bulacan. As a Maintenance Technician specialising in chiller systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our refrigeration equipment. This position is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and product quality across our facilities, directly contributing to the success of our manufacturing and packaging operations.

What you'll be doing

• Performing routine preventive maintenance on chiller units and refrigeration systems to ensure peak operational efficiency

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults in chiller equipment and related components

• Conducting regular inspections of refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators and refrigerant lines

• Replacing worn or damaged parts, seals, valves and other components as required

• Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and documentation of all work performed on chiller systems

• Performing repairs on chiller units whilst minimising downtime and maintaining safety standards

• Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new chiller equipment

• Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency service calls

• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and industry best practices in refrigeration maintenance

• Collaborating with other technicians and departments to ensure seamless facility operations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Refrigeration Technician, or similar role in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry

• Strong knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration cycles and mechanical components

• Experienced in diagnosing and repairing refrigeration equipment using appropriate tools and testing equipment

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and maintenance manuals
