Job summary

Paramount Human Resource Multi-purpose Cooperative is seeking a Chiller Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair chiller systems and related cooling equipment. You will monitor performance, diagnose issues, replace components, and ensure safe operation per company standards.

The role requires 1-2 years in chiller or HVAC maintenance, familiarity with electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and willingness to work shifting schedules including overtime and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Vocational, Technical, or Associate Course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) or related field.
• TESDA NC II in RAC is an advantage.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in chiller, refrigeration, or HVAC maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Familiar with refrigeration principles, chillers, cooling towers, and HVAC systems.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair chiller systems, refrigeration units, and cooling equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers and related mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues.
• Monitor chiller performance, operating pressures, temperatures, and refrigerant levels.
• Replace defective components such as compressors, motors, pumps, valves, thermostats, sensors, and electrical parts.
• Conduct leak detection, refrigerant charging, and system testing.
• Ensure proper operation of pumps, cooling towers, piping systems, and control panels.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and service logs.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Recommend improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Engineering Manager.
