Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–17 years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, Assembler, JCL, CICS, DB2 and other mainframe languages and tools.
• Experience with mainframe systems such as z/OS, IMS, and VSAM.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications and systems using COBOL, Assembler, JCL, CICS, DB2, and other programming languages and tools.
• Design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and project management to ensure delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mainframe development.
