Job summary

JGC Philippines, Inc. seeks skilled maintenance technicians with hands-on experience in machine shop practices in Palawan. Must read blueprints, operate lathes, mills, drills, and perform precise alignments and balancing to maintain equipment integrity.

Assignment in Palawan; maintain safety and company standards while carrying out overhauls of pumps, gear boxes, bearing modules and valves, plus thermal spray and grinding work as required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Vocational or Trade School Machine Shop practices or equivalent.
• Experience operating machines (lathe, milling, rolling bending, drill press, slotter, refacing, hydraulic press, test bench).
• Skilled in overhauling pumps, compressors, gear boxes, bearing modules and valves.
• Hands-on experience in thermal spray, metal build-up and grinding works.
• Experience performing shaft alignment using reverse dial and laser methods.
• Can perform static and dynamic balancing.
• Maintain safety and adhere to company standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
