Job summary

Minebea Philippines, Inc. seeks a Machinist to operate and set up manual and CNC machines in a Bataan manufacturing unit. You will read technical drawings, select tools, and ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Bataan. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and setting up manual and CNC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring that finished parts meet required specifications and quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and set up manual and CNC machines according to production requirements.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications.

• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine settings.

• Perform basic machine adjustments and ensure proper machining operations.

• Monitor machine performance and production processes.

• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Ensure machined parts meet specified dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.

• Identify and report machine or production issues and assist in troubleshooting when necessary.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of machines, tools, and work areas.

• Follow established production procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.

• Perform other machining and production-related duties as assigned.
  

About You

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant Vocational/Technical Course.

• With or without work experience; fresh graduates and newly qualified vocational graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Basic knowledge of manual and/or CNC machining is an advantage.

• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.

• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments is an advantage.

• Willing to learn and develop technical machining skills.
