Job summary

VENTURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS INT’L CORP is seeking a maintenance technician to service and repair food processing equipment across facilities. You will handle refrigeration systems, freezers, generators, ovens, proofer, and meat processing machinery to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hands-on experience, a high school diploma, and HVAC exposure in food processing plants, with refrigeration or electrical training preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• High school graduate.
• HVAC experience in food processing plants.
• Training certification in refrigeration or electrical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains equipment such as commercial freezers and refrigeration systems, generators, ovens, proofer, meat grinders and slicers.
• Diagnoses mechanical problems by inspecting and testing machinery, referring to manuals and diagrams.
• Plans repair work using diagrams, drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Repairs machinery and electrical components with appropriate tools and instruments.
• Installs or repairs wiring, plumbing, machinery and equipment as required.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance such as inspecting drives, motors and belts, and replacing filters.

Job Description:

• Repairs and performs routine maintenance on equipment and machinery such as commercial freezers and refrigeration equipment, auxiliary generators, rotary oven, proofer, meat grinders, meat slicers and other miscellaneous food processing equipment.
• Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them through inspecting, operating, or testing machinery or equipment; checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs and reading other technical information needed to perform mainte
• Plans and lays out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.
• Repairs machinery, equipment, or structures, using tools and precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
• Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment
• Performs routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing rather preventive maintenance actions.
