Job summary

CPO ELECTRONICS PHILIPPINES INC. in Lipa City, Batangas, is seeking an experienced Machine Technician to maintain, repair, and optimize our semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

This full-time role is based in our Batangas facility and requires hands-on technical work in a fast-paced production environment. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, document activities, and support operators while contributing to continuous improvement and reliability of our machinery.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a Machine Technician in semiconductors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals and technical documentation.
• Hands-on with varied maintenance tools and test equipment.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production machines.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose machinery issues promptly.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Technician to join our team at CPO ELECTRONICS PHILIPPINES INC'. As a Machine Technician in the Semiconductors industry, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. This is a full-time position based in our Lipa City, Batangas facility.

What you'll be doing

1. Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of production machines and equipment
2. Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with machinery, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner
3. Conducting inspections, testing, and calibrating equipment to ensure optimal performance
4. Documenting all maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements in detailed records
5. Collaborating with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain high efficiency
6. Providing technical support and training to operators on the proper use and care of equipment
7. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machinery productivity and reliability

What we’re looking for

1. Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience as a Machine Technician or in a similar role within the Semiconductors industry
2. Strong technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues
5. Hands-on experience with a variety of tools, test equipment, and maintenance procedures
6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
7. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment
8. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with production staff and management
