About the role

Machine Operator / Operator Technician responsible for ensuring efficient machine operations, conducting basic troubleshooting and maintenance, and maintaining compliance with safety, quality, sanitation, and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure 100% compliance with HSE and workplace safety rules.

• Identify, report, and help address potential safety risks and hazards.

• Participate in safety improvement initiatives and activities.

• Operate machines efficiently and ensure on-time and proper machine operation.

• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance as required.

• Execute autonomous and progressive maintenance programs.

• Ensure compliance with quality, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain accurate operational reports and records.

• Follow established cleaning, reporting, and safekeeping schedules.

• Ensure machines, tools, and work areas are properly maintained and kept in good condition.

About you

• Graduate of a technical/vocational course or at least a 2-year Engineering course from a recognized vocational or technical school.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator or Operator Technician.

• Knowledge and capability in machine operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.

• Must have or be willing to obtain relevant certifications: Operator Certification, GMP Certification/Training, Sanitation Training, Safety Training.

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

• Willing to work on a shifting schedule.

• Willing to render overtime or extended working hours when required.
