Switch Connect is seeking a Microsoft 365 Support Engineer to join our offshore technical team in a full-time onsite role in Santa Rosa, Laguna. You will provide advanced support across the M365 stack, assist with migrations, and help deliver projects while adhering to best practices in security and governance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on M365 experience, strong English communication, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 in a technical support or engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID/Azure AD and conditional access.
• Proficiency with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and admin centers.
• Experience with Intune (endpoint configuration, compliance, autopilot).
• Solid understanding of Active Directory and hybrid identity.
• Familiarity with security and monitoring tools for Microsoft 365.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• MSP experience is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced support across the Microsoft 365 stack (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Security & Compliance).
• Manage identity, access, MFA, and device compliance policies.
• Troubleshoot escalated issues related to user access, mail flow, SharePoint permissions and governance.
• Assist with tenant-to-tenant migrations and onboarding of new customers.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on small-to-medium M365 projects and improvements.
• Maintain documentation within PSA system and internal knowledge base.
• Support onboarding workflows, audits, and configuration changes.

Role Summary

Switch Connect is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Support Engineer to join our offshore technical team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands‑on experience across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Azure AD/Entra, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, security and compliance, and user/device governance. You will provide advanced support to Switch Connect customers, assist with onboarding and migrations, and contribute to project delivery and ongoing platform improvements. We’re looking for someone who is confident working across customer environments, can troubleshoot complex issues, and maintains best practices for configuration, security, and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Microsoft 365 Administration & Support:
• Provide advanced support across the Microsoft 365 stack, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and Security & Compliance.
• Manage identity, access, conditional access, MFA, password less authentication, and device compliance policies.
• Troubleshoot escalated issues relating to user access, mail flow, SharePoint permissions, Teams governance, and device management.
• Assist with tenant-to-tenant migrations, mailbox migrations, SharePoint/Teams restructures, Intune deployments, and onboarding of new customers into our managed environment.

Governance, Configuration & Best Practice

• Implement and maintain M365 governance frameworks (naming conventions, retention policies, DLP, conditional access, security baselines, audit configuration, etc.).
• Support administration of Active Directory/Entra hybrid environments, group policy, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Perform regular reviews of customer tenants to ensure alignment with Switch Confect’s standards for security, compliance, and configuration.

Customer Support & Technical Delivery

• Respond to escalated support tickets relating to Microsoft 365, identity, and user/application security.
• Provide remote support to customers in a professional, timely, and solution-focused manner.
• Assist project teams with implementation tasks, documentation, and customer onboarding activities.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver small-to-medium M365 projects, environment clean‑ups, and system enhancements.

Operational & Project Activities

• Maintain accurate documentation within our PSA system and internal knowledge base.
• Participate in operational tasks such as routine reviews, audit preparation, onboarding workflows, mail/domain cutovers, and configuration changes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Switch Connects Microsoft 365 service offerings.

Skills & Experience Required

• 3+ years supporting Microsoft 365 in a technical support or engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID/Azure AD, identity governance, authentication methods, and conditional access.
• Proficiency with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and associated administration centres.
• Experience with Intune (endpoint configuration, compliance, autopilot, and application management).
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, hybrid identity, and typical migration scenarios.
• Familiarity with backup, security, and monitoring tools for Microsoft 365 environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• MSP experience highly desirable.
