Job summary

Amanpulo invites applications for its Ignite – Management Development Program (Rooms). This 18-month immersive trainee program, starting 15 March 2027, blends a one-month cross-functional immersion with a specialised placement to grow leadership, guest-service excellence, and operational acumen.

Participants rotate through Rooms, Front Office, Housekeeping, and related functions, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to service standards in a luxury, private-island resort environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or related academic program.
• Demonstrates a genuine passion for hospitality and guest experiences.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
• Is adaptable and willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily Rooms Division operations, gaining hands-on experience in Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services.
• Support the delivery of personalised, seamless, and exceptional guest experiences in line with Aman’s luxury service standards.
• Assist in coordinating room assignments, guest arrivals and departures, VIP arrangements, and special requests.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in handling guest feedback, concerns, and service recovery under the guidance of department leaders.
• Participate in operational projects, service improvement initiatives, and process reviews to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Gain exposure to departmental budgeting, cost control, occupancy management, and performance reporting.
• Develop leadership and team management skills through departmental rotations, briefings, and training sessions.
• Take on progressive responsibilities and special projects to strengthen operational knowledge, business acumen, and leadership capabilities.
• Uphold Aman’s brand values, service philosophy, and standards of professionalism at all times.
