Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Makati invites applications for a Pool Attendant role in its upcoming 5-star property. You will maintain cleanliness and presentation of pool facilities, deliver personalized guest service, and support operations to ensure a luxury experience in a preopening environment.

The role emphasizes safety, hygiene, and collaboration with F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security to deliver exceptional guest moments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospitality-related education or training is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, recreation facility, or guest service environment preferred.
• Experience in luxury hospitality is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of pool operations and safety procedures.
• Understanding of health, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, courteous, and personalized service to all guests in accordance with Mandarin Oriental standards.
• Welcome guests to the pool area and provide seating, towels, and poolside amenities.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests in a professional and efficient manner.
• Maintain a visible presence in the pool area and engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor pool rules and safety procedures; report safety concerns immediately.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of poolside events and promotions.
• Coordinate with F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain stock levels of towels and poolside supplies; ensure storage areas are organized.
