KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Management

• Supervise inbound and outbound logistics including shipping, receiving, and transportation.

• Coordinate deliveries and pickups with internal departments, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.

Personnel Management

• Supervise and coordinate work of drivers, porters, QC staff, and admin coordinators.

• Provide training, performance monitoring, coaching, and discipline.

• Prepare work schedules and delegate tasks for optimal manpower allocation.

Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local logistics regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, schedules, and costs.

• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure integrity of logistics activities.

Cost and Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction in logistics and transportation.

• Recommend and implement process improvements.

• Assist in negotiating rates and terms with carriers and providers.

Coordination and Communication

• Collaborate with purchasing, production, operations, and customer service teams.

• Resolve delivery issues, complaints, or discrepancies promptly.

• Ensure smooth coordination during peak seasons or disruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Work Experience

• At least 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.

• At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

• Familiarity with Metro Manila and provincial Luzon routes.

Competencies

• Strong knowledge of logistics systems, inventory control, and transportation methods.

• Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office tools.

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
