Job summary

YUSEN LOGISTICS PHILIPPINES INC. is seeking a Quality Practitioner/Staff to monitor daily logistics operations and ensure compliance with MOPs, JAs, and SPLs. You will develop JAs and SPLs, support VSM/SCM initiatives, and assist audits to address findings.

The role requires ISO awareness, MS Office proficiency, and experience in manufacturing or 3PL environments, with CIP II, Calamba, Laguna as the work location.

Qualifications

• A graduate of any 4-year related course (preferably Industrial Engineering).
• At least 1 year experience as Quality Practitioner/Staff and 1 year experience in warehouse operations.
• Preferably with ISO 9001:2015 Awareness Training; IMS Awareness Training; Certified Internal Quality Auditor
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily logistics operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with MOPs, JAs, and SPLs.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Job Aids (JAs) and Single Point Lessons (SPLs) to support standardized operational execution.
• Support and facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) initiatives to identify bottlenecks, eliminate waste, and improve process flow.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards across all operations.
• Support internal and external audits by addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
• Apply Takt Time analysis, as needed, to align logistics processes with customer demand and output requirements.
• Conduct daily Gemba walks to observe operations, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor and promote adherence to 5S principles in warehouses and operational areas.

• Conduct training and orientation sessions on new or revised SOPs, JAs, and SPLs to ensure understanding and compliance.

• Drive and sustain Y.E.S. (Yusen Excellence System) implementation, ensuring compliance with established standards and guidelines.

• Lead and support Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance operational performance.

• Track and measure Kaizen project results, including cost savings, defect reduction, and process improvements.

• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions based on operational reviews and findings.

• Monitor and ensure timely completion of RHQ-assigned projects and initiatives.

• Prepare and submit required operational reports to RHQ in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications:

• A graduate of any 4-year related course. (Preferably, Industrial Engineering).

• At least one (1) year experience as Quality Practitioner/Staff and one (1) year experience as warehouse operations. With exposure to Quality functions in a manufacturing or third-party logistics (3PL) environment.

• Preferably with ISO 9001:2015 Awareness Training; IMS Awareness Training; Certified Internal Quality Auditor

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)

• Amenable to work in CIP II, Calamba, Laguna.
