About the role

The Operations Manager – APAC is a senior, proactive leadership role responsible for the coordination and oversight warehouse operations, global shipping, and logistics performance across the APAC region. This is not a reactive role. You will identify problems before they elevate, build the processes that prevent them from recurring, and push operational partners to perform beyond their KPIs. You will manage two direct reports (Sales Order Coordinator and Shipping Specialist), both based in the Philippines, and will work closely with the Head of APAC on strategic initiatives including the evaluation and potential setup of a Hong Kong warehouse within your first 12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day coordination and oversight of Australian warehouse operations, managed through 3PL partner JAS
• Hold JAS accountable to agreed KPIs and actively drive performance beyond them
• Manage stock on hand (SOH) accuracy, investigate synchronisation issues, and ensure inventory levels reflect true stock availability
• Oversee inbound PO receipting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in collaboration with JAS and the Production team
• Identify and resolve warehouse compliance issues in collaboration with JAS, AusPost, and StarTrack
• Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts for inbound and outbound shipments
• Take a lead or active support role in evaluating, setting up, and operationalising new warehouses in Hong Kong and Japan
• Oversee the Shipping Specialist's management of all domestic and international freight, providing direction, prioritisation support, and performance oversight
• Monitor global shipping performance across the US, UK, China, and distributor markets, escalating material issues to the CEO
• Lead, coach, and develop two direct reports using a hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach

About you

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations roles
• Demonstrated experience in consumer goods with multiple SKUs and warehouse locations
• Proven track record managing 3PL relationships and holding external partners to performance standards
• Experience overseeing both B2B and D2C fulfilment operations
• Proficient in NetSuite (power user level), Power BI, WMS platforms, and Amazon Seller Central
• Experience with international freight across multiple markets — documentation, customs, freight forwarders, carriers
• Exposure to warehouse setup or expansion projects highly regarded
• Strong, confident communicator with excellent written and spoken English
• Natural problem‑solver who identifies issues proactively and drives solutions without waiting to be asked
• Comfortable working Australian business hours from Manila
