HGS Offshore Staffing Solutions is seeking a logistics analytics leader to oversee and elevate performance across the logistics network. The role focuses on data-driven insights, proactive risk management, and cross-functional remediation to prevent supply delays and optimize partner performance.
The position requires strong SQL skills, ERP experience, and leadership capabilities to drive continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment within Metro Manila operations.
To oversee and elevate the performance of all Logistics functions through data-driven insights and proactive risk management. Sitting outside of individual functional pods, this overarching role provides a top-down view of the entire logistics network. The primary focus is to utilise data and continuous innovation to proactively identify bottlenecks, prevent supply delays, manage partner performance, and align internal departments on necessary remediations or commercial penalties.
Regularly monitor end-to-end logistics operations to flag potential supply delays, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints
Serve as an analytical support resource across logistics functions, tracking operational health and bringing network vulnerabilities to the Team Leader's attention
Support the department with scenario planning, capacity modelling, and stress-testing ahead of peak trading periods to evaluate carrier SLA resilience under high volume
Build and maintain performance reporting tools, data monitors, and real-time dashboards as directed
Analyse daily and weekly logistics data to identify emerging trends, risk indicators, or operational variances
Collate data and calculate financial metrics associated with logistics failures to support the function in building commercial penalty cases and ROI proposals
Assist teams during Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations into major supply chain disruptions by gathering relevant data and documenting Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans
Monitor carrier, supplier, and partner adherence against agreed SLAs, compiling regular performance scorecards
Draft data-backed performance packs, summary reports, and evidence files to support partner performance reviews and remediation discussions
Prepare routine performance summaries and metrics for internal teams under the direction of functional managers
Proven experience in logistics and operations management, preferably in a managerial role
Strong knowledge of delivery, consolidation, and transportation processes, including order fulfillment, carrier management, and warehouse operations
Track record of driving continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence in a logistics environment
Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in logistics operations
Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills
Strong SQL skills or prior exposure to relational databases
Proficient in utilising ERP systems, with a strong grasp of cross-system communication and logistics workflows
Ability to think outside-of-the-box, maintain a positive attitude, remain flexible in daily responsibilities, and conduct oneself professionally at all times
