Job summary

AGRI EXIM GLOBAL INC. is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead the logistics function within the Supply Chain Department. You will drive inbound/outbound operations, import/export activities, and 3PL coordination to ensure cost-effective, compliant movement of materials and finished goods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain.
• At least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Import and Export Operations expertise.
• Freight forwarder and 3PL trucking services negotiation and coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inbound and outbound logistics operations, including shipment planning, dispatch, delivery, loading, and unloading activities
• Oversee import and export operations, including shipment booking, customs clearance, documentation, and coordination with relevant government agencies and service providers
• Manage and negotiate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, trucking companies, customs brokers, and other logistics service providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable services
• Monitor shipment schedules, delivery performance, truck turnaround time, and overall cargo movement efficiency
• Ensure proper logistics documentation and strict compliance with customs, trade, safety, and company policies and requirements
• Monitor and control logistics costs, including freight, trucking, handling, demurrage, detention, and other related charges, ensuring alignment with budget
• Coordinate closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Production, Planning, Sales, and Finance departments to ensure seamless material and product movement
• Lead, supervise, and develop the logistics team, ensuring productivity, accountability, and adherence to operational standards and safety protocols
• Develop and monitor logistics KPIs, implementing cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement programs
• Resolve logistics issues, including delays, shipment discrepancies, cargo damages, and other operational concerns in a timely manner

About the role

The Logistics Manager leads the company's logistics function under the Supply Chain Department, reporting to the Head of Department. The role holder is accountable for the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of materials and finished goods - from inbound receipt through outbound delivery - including import and export operations. The position requires strong expertise in freight negotiation, customs clearance, trade compliance, transportation management, and 3PL provider oversight. The Logistics Manager also builds and develops a high-performing logistics team, establishes KPIs, and drives continuous improvement and cost-saving programs aligned with company objectives.

About you

• Managerial/supervisory experience in outbound and inbound logistics
• Willing to be assigned to Darong, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur
• Background in Manufacturing, FMCG, or Logistics and Distribution companies preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Experience in process improvement/Lean Six Sigma
