Landers is seeking a Logistics and Imports Manager to coordinate the Imports and Planning Team with internal and external stakeholders across time zones. The role involves attending meetings, shaping policies, and ensuring reliable product availability.

The candidate will oversee order, inventory, planning, and cost management, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and driving continuous improvements in logistics operations onsite in Aseana City, Parañaque

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 5–7 years of combined supply and demand planning and logistics experience

Responsibilities

• Create strategies to ensure effective delivery of goods and drive sales
• Identify supply chain challenges and implement contingencies
• Maintain high On-Shelf Availability (OSA)
• Manage inventory to optimize working capital and availability
• Monitor demand, availability and product flow to resolve bottlenecks
• Manage relationships and SLAs with foreign vendors for stable supply and range of imported products
• Identify logistics savings and drive cost improvements
• Negotiate shipping/logistics rates as needed
• Resolve disputes and ensure claims are recovered from vendors

Job description

As Logistics and Imports Manager, the role will be representing the Imports and Planning Team across various internal and external stakeholders. The role, from time-to-time, will be required to attend meetings and alignments with partners across different time zones thus requiring flexibility in schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Order Management

• Create strategies within the organization to ensure the effective delivery of goods and drive sales

• Identify challenges across the supply chain and ensure contingencies are in place to manage risks and avoid losses in the business

• Success is measured based on product availability/ On-Shelf Availability (OSA)

Inventory Management

• Manage optimal use of resources and efficient use of working capital to ensure financial health of the business while maximizing availability and sales

• Success is measured based on the stocks covers/ inventory levels across Landers’ network

Planning and Relationship Management

• Monitors demand, availability and flow of products to identify and resolve supply bottlenecks

• Align and drive decisions with the business management to craft strategic policies

• Manages the relationship and SLAs with foreign vendors to ensure stable supply and a complete range of imported products

• Success is measured based on established KPIs, compliances and execution issues from purchase requisition to purchase order to fulfillment.

Cost Management

• Identify rooms for logistics improvement that will generate savings and drive efficiency

• Facilitate negotiations on shipping/ logistic rates as may be needed

• Resolve disputes and ensure that claims are recovered from vendors

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of BS Industrial / Management Engineering / BS Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any equivalent degree.

• At least five (5) to seven (7) years of work experience with at least 5 years of combined supply and demand planning and logistics experience. Relevant background in import/export operations is an advantage.

• Must be knowledgeable in Supply and Demand Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, Import/ Export Operations. He/ She must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, SAP ERP and tech savvy in navigating various supply chain tools and platforms.

• Has a strong business insight to come up with strategies and decisions in driving the organization’s goals.

• Able to manage ambiguity to operate effectively under any circumstance.

• Strong ability to managecomplexity and come up with effective solutions to challenges.

• Ability to drive work and achieve tangible results by directing, delegating, influencing and removing obstacles within the team and its environment.

• Strong drive to cultivate innovation and look for continuous improvements in the process and has an out of the box thinking in addressing problems and challenges in operations.

• Ability to balance stakeholders and has deep understanding on both internal and external requirements, needs and expectation, culture to come up with fair and impartial decision.

• Must be amenable to working onsite in Aseana City, Parañaque City.
