You will oversee tactical planning, risk management, digitalization initiatives, and cost control across freight, storage, and fleet activities, while driving ISO compliance and performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to Tactical Risk and Opportunity Management and recommends action plans based on SIPOC and Tactical Plan.
• Provides operational direction to the Logistics Section in day-to-day activities.
• Coordinates with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure quality standards are integrated into all production phases.
• Provides solutions and decisions in day-to-day challenges.
• Reports challenges and recommendations for improvement to the OMG OIC/Manager.
• Reports status of action plans based on Tactical ROM.
• Submits monthly KPI reports and action plans with improvements.
• Delegates responsibilities and monitors performance via KPIs.
• Manages daily tasks, monitors operations, and ensures quality and safety in the work areas.
• Supervises the team on execution of projects and compliance plans to meet department output.
• Lead and develop Logistics Section.
• Assesses logistics staff capabilities via performance evaluations and competency management.
• Plans and conducts training on quality assurance processes, tools, and standards.
• Ensures efficient use of logistics spaces and resources; maintains safe storage.
• Monitors allocated resources for Logistics section.
• Maintains logistics trucks and ensures optimal condition.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure cohesive end-to-end operations and quick actions.
• Implements digital transformation in Logistics, such as ERP and automation.
• Monitors freight costs based on approved rates, routes, and delivery requirements.
• Reviews freight invoices and supporting documents.
• Monitors freight expenses against the budget.
• Coordinates with Logistics, Finance, Warehouse, and TPL providers regarding freight cost concerns.
• Analyzes freight cost variances and identifies unusual charges.
• Prepares freight cost reports on time.
• Maintains freight cost documents.
• Ensures timely submission of delivery, freight, and billing documents.
• Updates freight cost information in the ERP System and monitoring files.
• Monitors TPL freight charges and compliance with approved rates and agreements.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce freight costs and improve logistics cost efficiency.
• Monitors and reports freight cost-related KPIs.
• Ensures ISO-related procedures, documentation, and record requirements are met.
• Supports internal and external audits and ensures timely completion of corrective actions.
