Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Business Support Assistant in Parañaque. The role focuses on managing control tower RMT activities, uploading carrier rate sheets into the GPM system, and ensuring high service quality. You will monitor KPIs like quality, timeliness, and productivity, identify issues, and suggest improvements.

You will support team leaders in achieving KPIs, maintaining data accuracy, and collaborating across DSV units to optimize processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• A background in freight forwarding or logistics education is an advantage.
• Knowledge of various transport management systems is an advantage.
• Experience with Tender/Rate management, Sales, and Commercial processes is a plus.
• Prior experience in billing issuance or similar tasks is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook/Excel – Intermediate to Advanced level).
• Strong familiarity with web-based applications and the Internet.
• Quick learner with a focused work approach.
• Resilient, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates an accurate and reliable working method.
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Upload carrier/client rate sheets into the system, including ocean rates, surcharges, and arbitrary charges, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain data input accuracy to prevent system errors.
• Communicate issues to the Trade Lane Logistics Manager and suggest actionable solutions.
• Propose process improvements based on identified challenges and issues.
• Process and update workload allocations and prioritize tickets to meet KPIs.
• Follow SOPs for updating rate sheets and data uploads into the GPM system.
• Report irregularities per SOP and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain Cherwell/ServiceNow ticket status and mark as resolved.
• Contribute to daily stand-ups with process-improvement ideas and updates.
• Assist in report development based on customer requirements.
