Job summary

The International Committee of the Red Cross in Manila is seeking a Logistics Country Manager to coordinate all logistics activities in the Philippines, ensuring systems are in place and compliant with government regulations. They serve as the main link between logistics staff at headquarters and logistics teams in the field.

Leading 10–15 staff and a fleet of 10–25 vehicles, you will oversee order management, procurement, warehousing, import/export, transport, and reporting, while guiding

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Excellent command of English; French is an asset.
• Computer proficiency and knowledge of specialized software.

Responsibilities

• Set priorities, objectives and strategies for logistics in line with the delegation's priorities.
• Supervise and manage 10-12 staff in Manila with 3-4 direct reports.
• Oversee all logistics files (order management, procurement, warehousing, import/export, transport, fleet and reporting).
• Manage finances for all logistics cost centers.
• Provide guidance on logistics policies and procedures.
• Ensure all transactions in JDE/IRIS are accurate and timely.
• Support Mindanao Logistics teams as needed.
