Job summary

Thrivemodal is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support day-to-day transportation and logistics operations for a U.S.-based client. You will coordinate shipments, track deliveries, and keep accurate records, working with carriers, drivers, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple shipments and respond quickly to issues. Strong Excel/Sheets skills and familiarity with TMS/ERP are a plus, with U.S. Eastern Time hours required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight coordination, dispatch, or a related role.
• 3 years experience supporting U.S. logistics or transportation operation.
• Hands-on experience coordinating shipments, carriers, drivers, or deliveries.
• Strong shipment tracking and follow-up skills.
• Experience working with transportation or logistics software/TMS is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in dealing with U.S.-based customers, carriers, and drivers.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and other standard office tools.
• Willing to work U.S. Eastern Time hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments from pickup through final delivery
• Schedule and confirm pickups, deliveries, and transportation requirements
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding shipment status and requirements
• Track shipments and provide timely updates on ETAs, delays, and delivery status
• Proactively follow up on delayed, missed, or at-risk shipments and coordinate resolutions
• Review and maintain accurate shipping documents, including BOLs, PODs, rate confirmations, and related records
• Enter and maintain shipment information accurately in TMS, ERP, spreadsheets, or other logistics systems
• Coordinate changes to schedules, routes, or delivery requirements as needed
• Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, service issues, and documentation concerns
• Maintain organized records of shipments, carrier communications, and delivery information
• Prepare logistics reports and provide operational updates to management
• Follow established processes and contribute ideas for improving logistics workflows and efficiency
