Job summary

Kimberland Construction Inc. is seeking a Logistics and Supply Chain Officer to coordinate timely delivery, storage, and movement of construction materials and equipment across project sites in Metro Manila.

You will work with project management, procurement, and suppliers, using Excel to track deliveries, monitor shortages, and optimize schedules. A 2–5 year background in logistics, preferably in construction, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, materials management, or construction operations.
• Experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and overall MS Office for tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of construction materials, equipment, tools, and other project requirements to and from project sites.
• Review material delivery requirements based on project schedules, site requests, and approved material requisitions.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, transport providers, site personnel, and project teams.
• Ensure materials are delivered to the correct project site, receiving area, and required schedule.
• Monitor deliveries and escalate delays, shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain records of materials received, issued, transferred, returned, and remaining on site.
• Coordinate with suppliers, haulers, trucking providers, equipment rental firms, and other logistics service providers.
• Prepare and maintain delivery schedules, movement records, and inventory reports.

About the role

The Logistics and Supply Chain Officer is responsible for coordinating the timely and efficient movement, delivery, receipt, storage, and monitoring of construction materials, equipment, tools, and other site resources. The role works closely with Project Management, Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering, Site Operations, suppliers, contractors, and transport providers to ensure that project requirements are delivered to the correct location, in the required quantity, and within the agreed schedule. The position plays an important role in preventing material shortages, delivery delays, site congestion, and unnecessary logistics costs that may affect project timelines and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of construction materials, equipment, tools, and other project requirements to and from project sites
• Review material delivery requirements based on project schedules, site requests, and approved material requisitions
• Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, transport providers, site personnel, and project teams
• Ensure that materials are delivered to the correct project site, designated receiving area, and required schedule
• Monitor deliveries and immediately elevate delays, shortages, damages, or discrepancies
• Monitor the movement and availability of construction materials, tools, equipment, and other site resources
• Maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, transferred, returned, and remaining on site
• Coordinate with suppliers, haulers, trucking providers, equipment rental companies, and other logistics service providers
• Prepare and maintain delivery schedules, material movement records, receiving documentation, inventory reports, and other logistics-related records
• Act as a coordination point between project sites, suppliers, procurement, warehouse, transport providers, and other relevant departments for logistics concerns

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, materials management, or construction operations
• Experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for tracking and reporting
• Strong coordination and organizational skills
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and documentation
• Ability to monitor multiple deliveries and requirements simultaneously
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Willingness to travel to or regularly visit project sites as required
