Job summary

Alfamart Trading Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Warehouse Assistant in Marilao, Bulacan. You will manage inbound containers, verify items, and coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure orderly shipments.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, signing delivery notes, stocking duties, unpacking, order preparation, maintaining cleanliness, reporting incidents, and supporting teammates during slower periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/office/operations management related field.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong data entry skills.
• At least 6 months of logistics or warehouse experience.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and time management.
• Adaptive to night and early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries to ensure correct stock.
• Sign delivery notes upon receipt of shipments.
• Handle stock procedures and liaise with suppliers/customers.
• Unpack items and arrange on shelves as needed.
• Prepare client orders by gathering and loading stock.
• Keep the facility clean, sanitary and organized.
• Report breakages and spills.
• Assist other staff during lulls in the day.

Who are we looking for:

As a Logistics Warehouse Assistant, you are expected to perform many duties including managing inbound containers and verifying that they contain the right items. Checks invoices to ensure that service requests have been followed and creates and maintains liaison with suppliers and customers to ensure that shipments are received in an organized manner.

• Receiving and checking deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stock are delivered.
• Signing delivery notes upon receipt of shipments.
• Heeding notes about appropriate procedures for handling stock, particularly when fragile.
• Unpacking items and arranging these on shelves, if needed.
• Preparing our clients' orders by gathering and loading stock.
• Ensuring that the facility remains clean, sanitary, and well-organized.
• Reporting all breakages and spills.
• Offering assistance to other staff in the department during lulls in your day.

What does it take to be part of the team?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Operations Management, and Business Management.
• Knowledgeable and proficient in MS Office.
• At least 6 months of working experience in logistics or warehouse.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
• Strong time-management skills to efficiently meet deadlines.
• Resilience and the ability to perform well under pressure.
• Flexible to adapt to shifting schedules, including night and early morning shifts.
