SM Investments in Metro Manila is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to manage local permits, taxes, and LGU relations for SMIC and the parent group. You will ensure timely payment of Local Business Taxes and Real Property Taxes, and monitor permits and related regulatory requirements across operations.

The role requires a college degree in business, 2–3 years of related experience, and strong communication, MS Office skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years related work experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Responsabilités

• Manage business permit registration, retirement and cancellation.
• Ensure timely payment of Local Business Taxes and Real Property Taxes.
• Ensure that discounts granted by LGUs on local tax payments are availed.
• Monitor the department Data Management System (DMS) Project and documents in the offsite archive.
• Prepare local business tax budget (based estimated and audited gross receipts)
• Liaise with LGUs for permits and ancillary permits and resolve related issues.
• Attend audits by LGU Treasurer and monitor local tax payments.
