Da Prosperitas Holding Incoporated is seeking a Legal and Compliance Manager to oversee all legal, regulatory, and business permit requirements in the Philippines. You will lead the permits processing team, liaise with SEC, DOLE, BIR, LGUs, and advise management on compliance strategy.
You will ensure timely renewal of permits, maintain records, and drive adherence to Philippine laws, labor regulations, and internal standards across all operations.
The Legal and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's compliance with all legal, regulatory, and business permit requirements. This role ensures the timely processing and renewal of permits and licenses, supervises the compliance support team, and coordinates with various government agencies such as the SEC, DOLE, BIR, and LGUs. The position also provides guidance to management on compliance matters, ensuring that all company operations adhere to applicable Philippine laws, labor regulations, and internal standards.
Supervise and guide the permits and compliance team in handling daily documentation and government transactions.
Assign and monitor tasks to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with deadlines.
Conduct team meetings to review progress, resolve issues, and maintain coordination with other departments.
Oversee the timely application, processing, and renewal of all business permits and licenses (e.g., Barangay Clearance, Mayor's Permit, BIR, DOLE, SEC, DTI, and other required certifications).
Ensure that all regulatory documents are complete, accurate, and properly filed.
Maintain an organized database of permits, licenses, and compliance records for monitoring and audit purposes.
Act as the company's representative in dealing with government agencies, including SEC, DOLE, LGUs, and other regulatory bodies.
Coordinate and submit all necessary forms, reports, and requirements to ensure compliance with government regulations.
Provide advice to management on compliance and regulatory requirements related to business operations.
Prepare periodic compliance reports and updates for management review.
Bachelor's Degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field (JD/LLB preferred).
At least 3–5 years of experience in corporate compliance, permits processing, or regulatory affairs, preferably in a managerial capacity.
Strong knowledge of Philippine government processes, corporate registration, and business compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
High attention to detail, integrity, and professional judgment.
Proficient in MS Office applications and document management systems.
Experience liaising with SEC, DOLE, BIR, LGUs, and other government agencies.
Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and official issuances.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
