Job summary

Ayala Multi-Purpose Cooperative (Ayala Coop) is seeking a dedicated Loans Processor to review and process member loan applications in a timely and accurate manner.

You will verify documentation, ensure loan type correctness, and confirm eligibility in line with internal policies and general coop requirements. This role ensures compliance and orderly processing of loan requests with a strong emphasis on detail and math skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• Proven experience as a Loan Processor or similar role (minimum two years).
• In-depth knowledge of loan procedures and documentation processes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Well-organized and able to handle pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong math skills.
• Proficient in any loan software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Receives loan applications from members/customers.
• Reviews regular, promo, and mortgage loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensures loan type accuracy and eligibility according to internal requirements.
• Verifies members have no past-due loans and processes mortgage-related documents.
• Updates loan status files and prepares start/stop summaries.
• Prepares refund requests for Accounting and sends processed loan lists to Treasury.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

The Loans Processor reviews and processes loan applications of members. In this position, the main goal is to help eligible members obtain loan in an orderly and timely manner.

Job Description:

• Receives application form from members/AMPC Customer Service

• Reviews application for regular, promo, and mortgage loans to ensure the following:

  • Accuracy and completeness of submitted information and documentary requirements

  • Accuracy of loan type applied

  • Compliance of members' applied loan with the Company's internal eligibility requirement or the Coop's general loan eligibility requirement in the absence of the former

  • Member has no past due loan amortization

• Handles additional requirements for mortgage loans:

  • Processes remittance of MRI for Long-Term Housing Loan to third party provider

  • Safekeeps HLLT title and other documents

  • Verifies the projected interest income

• For members with lacking requirement and approved loan amount via communication channels prescribed by Ayala Coop

• Updates loan status file

• Prepares summary of start/stop advice

• Prepares request for refund for submission to Accounting Department

• Prepares and sends list of loans processed to Treasury for uploading of loan proceeds

• Perform other tasks that maybe assigned by immediate supervisor.

Job Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in any Business course or relevant field.

• Proven experience as aLoan Processoror similar role, at least minimum two years of relevant work experience
