Job summary

RCBC in Taguig is seeking a Loan Operations Support Officer to oversee daily operations of DEIG Loan Products and support the Loans Product Team. You will ensure smooth processing, accurate reporting, and compliance with BSP, RCBC, and AMLC policies, working with IT and care teams to resolve issues.

The role requires a 4-year degree and strong knowledge of loan operations, regulatory requirements, and performance reporting. Experience in banking is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year course in related field.
• In-depth knowledge of Loans Product and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in banking/financial services with exposure to loan operations.
• Familiarity with reporting and performance reporting models.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor third party provider processing loans booking end to end.
• Prepare, deliver and handle loan performance reports and commission reports.
• Ensure channel compliance with BSP, RCBC, AMLC policies and internal guidelines.
• Assist in developing and implementing process simplifications.
• Assist in gathering information on system errors encountered in processing transactions.
• Ensure all items comply with RCBC, BSP and AMLC policies; report irregularities.
• Monitor uptime and transaction success rates to meet targets.
• Coordinate TAT delivery of Digital Loans for DEIG.
• Collaborate with IT support and customer care to resolve loan issues until resolved.
• Ensure GL postings for adjustments caused by fixes/bugs.

Job description

The Loan Operations Support Officer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our DEIG Loan Products. She/He is responsible for providing full support and accountability to the Loans Product Team, ensuring the smooth functioning and providing exceptional service to clients pre- and post-application. Creates synergies between internal and external stakeholders that would ultimately deliver better customer experience across the bank's various target segments.

How will you contribute:

• Oversee and monitor the status and performance of our Third Party Provider that processes the Loans Booking end to end.
• Responsible for the on-time preparation, delivery and handling of all loan performance reports as well as commission reports to our loan strategic partners.
• Ensures compliance of the channel to external regulation as well as to internal policies and procedures of the Bank. Ensures that BSP, compliance and audit findings on the channel are addressed.
• Participates in the development and implementation of process simplifications.
• Assists in preparing, analyzing and monitoring including gathering of information on any system errors and problems encountered in processing of transactions.
• Must ensure that all items within his/her scope are compliant with the various policies and guidelines of the following internal and external stakeholders, but not limited to RCBC, BSP and AMLC. Such that any item found to be irregular and non-compliant will be the officer's responsibility to report to his/her immediate supervisor and as prescribed by the bank's policy on reporting and escalating items of the said nature.
• Monitors performance metrics such as uptime, transaction success rates, etc., taking necessary actions to meet or exceed targets.
• Coordinates and monitors the TAT delivery of Digital Loans being booked for DEIG.
• Supports initiatives to improve product profitability and increase revenue aligned to the Groups goal.
• Coordinates with other departments, such as IT support teams or customer care, when resolving simple and complex loan issues, which include systems or bugs that require fixing until resolution.
• Coordinates with DEIG Operations Compliance team for ORMS filing (as needed) of any issues/incidents that arise in production that may or may not incur losses.
• Ensures that all GLs are posted/entered for adjustments that are caused by fixes/bugs/normal adjustment to fix the customer account/s.

What will make you successful:

• Graduate of a 4-year course, preferably with a degree in Business Administration or Accounting or any a related field of studies.
• In-depth business knowledge of Loans Product and regulatory requirements
• Experience working in banking/financial services industry with exposure to Loan operations is highly desirable
• Familiarity with reporting and performance reporting models
