Job summary

Satellite Office is seeking Verification Officers to validate financial information, identities, and supporting documents for loan applications. You will apply credit criteria to ensure high-quality outcomes while supporting settlement and turnaround targets.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and brokers. Prior lending exposure is valued, with a focus on regulatory compliance and AML/CTF requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous lending experience is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to identify patterns and assess data against documents.
• Knowledge of AML/CTF and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review identity, financial, employment and residential information against bank statements and other documents to determine validity and accuracy.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders including Customer Operations, Business Development Managers and Associates, brokers and employers.
• Perform outbound calls to assist applicants and brokers throughout the application process.
• Verify and validate that all lending policies are adhered to for each application.
• Ensure each application complies with responsible lending and AML/CTF requirements.
• Clear verbal and written communication with stakeholders to request further information and provide outcomes and reasoning.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure efficient processing of applications and turnaround time targets.
• Ad-hoc tasks as required.
