Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an LLM Engineer / Prompt Engineer in the Philippines to design, develop, and optimize prompts and workflows for large language model applications. Your Role:

As an LLM Engineer / Prompt Engineer, you will:
Design, develop, and optimize prompts and workflows for large language model (LLM) applications.
Build and maintain AI-driven solutions such as chatbots, copilots, and intelligent automation systems.
Evaluate model outputs and implement strategies to improve accuracy, relevance, and safety.
Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to integrate LLM capabilities into production systems.
Experiment with model tuning approaches, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and prompt engineering techniques.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in software development, AI/ML engineering, or NLP-related roles
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience working with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI models, open-source LLMs, or similar platforms)
• Understanding of prompt engineering principles and model evaluation techniques

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience with RAG frameworks and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate)
• Familiarity with APIs for LLM integration and orchestration tools (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of NLP concepts such as embeddings, tokenization, and fine-tuning
• Experience working in Agile or experimental product environments
