Job summary

Villaraza & Angangco is seeking a Litigation Associate for its Taguig office. You will handle civil, commercial, and special proceedings, drafting pleadings and court submissions under senior lawyers’ guidance.

You will conduct legal and factual research, coordinate with courts, government agencies, and clients, and manage case files and timelines to support efficient progression of matters. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring regular collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in civil, commercial, and procedural law.
• Proficiency in preparing motions and pleadings under time-sensitive conditions.
• Advanced research skills including case law and statutory research.
• Experience or training in depositions, witness preparation, and evidence handling.
• Familiarity with courts, procedures, and filing requirements; professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court submissions; conduct legal research.
• Assist in hearings, trials, and depositions; coordinate with courts and government agencies.
• Manage case files and timelines to support efficient progression of matters.
• Coordinate with clients and colleagues to advance case strategy and execution.
• Maintain accurate documentation and attention to detail across matters.
