Job summary

Schneider Electric Philippines in Cavite, Rosario, is seeking a Production Operator responsible for all aspects of production and ensuring each process meets specifications set by the company. You will work on assembly, testing, and alteration of PC boards and final assemblies, operating equipment and tools, and performing quality checks.

The role requires adherence to work instructions, SPC/QC practices, and strong attention to detail while maintaining safety and housekeeping at the workstation.

Qualifications

• Experience in product assembly/production operation in electronics/semiconductor manufacturing.
• Knowledge in SPC and QC tools; capable of minor troubleshooting.
• Able to grasp and follow instructions precisely.
• Experience operating electronic assembly equipment.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• May troubleshoot machines and perform testing, repairs, calibration of PCB boards and final assemblies.
• Assemble, test, and modify PC boards and assemblies per approved work instructions.
• Operate production equipment and hand tools as assigned.
• Perform First Article Inspection on station and first 5 units produced.
• Ensure work instructions are posted and followed.
• Clean and protect produced units from damage.
• Maintain strict quality control in product assemblies.
• Produce parts based on planning requirements.
• Provide feedback to Production Supervisor about line issues.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in stations.

About the role

Responsible for all aspects of production. Checks and verifies special position and qualifies each process to meet specifications standards set by the company.

Key responsibilities

• May perform minor troubleshooting of machine/s and/or conduct testing, repairs, calibration of printed circuit boards and/or final assemblies
• Perform tasks required in the assembly, testing and/or alteration of Production Circuit (PC) boards and/or final assemblies in compliance with the standard approved work instructions
• Operates production equipment and/or hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers or crimpers as assigned
• Performs First Article Inspection on his/her station and on the first 5 units produced to ensure machines and products produced meets the required quality standards
• Ensures work instructions are posted and followed in assigned work station
• Cleans and protects the produced units from any damage
• Practices strict quality control in product assemblies
• Operates and produces parts based on requirement set by the planning section
• Gives immediate feedback to the Production Supervisor regarding line abnormalities including quality issues, process non-compliance, absence of appropriate work instructions, machine/tool breakdown, parts shortages and material losses
• Maintains safety and good housekeeping in respective work stations

About you

• Vocational Course Graduate, College Level or High School Graduate with equivalent experience
• Experience in product assembly/production operation gained in an electronics/semiconductor manufacturing company
• Knowledge in SPC, QC tools and minor troubleshooting
