Job summary

Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare and cook a variety of menu items in a fast-paced, professional kitchen in a beachfront setting.

We welcome fresh graduates with culinary internships; formal training is a plus. The role requires strong food safety knowledge, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related courses with kitchen internship.
• Formal culinary training or hospitality/culinary arts qualifications are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our team at Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a beautiful beachfront resort setting.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and cooking a range of menu items to the highest standards of quality and consistency
2. Ensuring all food preparation and cooking is completed in a timely manner to meet service demands
3. Maintaining a clean and organised workstation, following all food safety and hygiene protocols
4. Assisting with food inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
5. Working collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests
6. Providing training and guidance to junior kitchen staff as required

What we're looking for

1. Open to fresh graduates of Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management Graduate or other related courses with internship in the kitchen.
2. Formal culinary training or qualifications in hospitality/culinary arts is an advantage.
