Job summary

Tidal is seeking a Retention Manager to own email and SMS lifecycle programs for a global eCommerce brand. You will structure flows, segmentation, testing, and analytics in Klaviyo and Attentive to improve LTV and repeat purchases.

You’ll collaborate with the performance marketing team to execute campaigns, maintain data hygiene, and align retention with growth goals, working remotely with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years freelancing experience in email/lifecycle or retention marketing for eCommerce/DTC brands
• 3–6+ years in email, lifecycle, or retention marketing for eCommerce/DTC brands
• Strong technical expertise in Klaviyo and Attentive with flows, segmentation, testing, analytics
• Experience building experimentation and testing frameworks
• Data-driven, structured, and execution-focused
• Excellent English communication skills (C1 or C2)

Responsibilities

• Own hands-on execution of email and SMS retention in Klaviyo
• Build, optimize, and maintain lifecycle flows (welcome, post-purchase, win-back, replenishment)
• Build and schedule an always-on campaign calendar with the marketing team
• Develop and execute structured testing strategies across segmentation, timing, offers, and flow logic
• Monitor performance and translate insights into optimizations
• Partner with internal teams to align retention efforts with growth and brand goals
• Maintain data hygiene, segmentation logic, and documentation within Klaviyo
