Job summary

Pro-Excel Property Managers Inc. (PPMI) is seeking a qualified Facilities Engineer Manager to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for reliable building operation.

You will supervise multi-skilled technicians and third-party contractors, and monitor electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and life-safety systems. You will oversee tenant fit-outs and renovations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and assist in budgeting and energy-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Licensed Engineer preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in property management, building facilities, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and preventive maintenance, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Experience supervising technicians, contractors, and building maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of tenant fit-out, construction/renovation works, equipment testing and commissioning is an advantage.
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday and shifting schedules when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Supervise technicians and third-party contractors involved in maintenance, repair, and technical works.
• Monitor critical building systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems.
• Oversee engineering and technical activities, including tenant fit-outs, renovations, equipment testing and commissioning, and review of plans and technical proposals.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with safety, statutory, regulatory, and environmental requirements, including permits, licenses, and required reports.
• Prepare maintenance and technical reports, monitor equipment records and inventory, and assist in budgeting and cost-saving initiatives.
• Implement energy conservation measures and monitor common-area utility consumption to support efficient building operations.
