Qualifications

• Candidate must have 2-3 years experience as a Building/Property or Facilities Engineer.
• Experience in residential properties or office buildings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance programs is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical and engineering operations of the property.
• Ensure building equipment operate at specified hours and maintain systems.
• Assist technical personnel on equipment specifications and maintenance programs.
• Oversee maintenance contracts and service providers’ activities.
• Provide stocks for repairs and maintain documentation with stock cards.
• Monitor utilities consumption and compare with budget; report variances.
• Implement Energy Management Plan with building representatives and technicians.
• Improve appearance and efficiency of property and equipment.
• Participate in testing and commissioning of equipment per procedures.
• Inspect resident fit-out units and enforce approved guidelines and plans.
• Ensure submission of permits and insurance for unit renovations.

Job description

Property Engineer oversees all technical and engineering operations of the property, including preventive maintenance, repair of building systems, and supervision of service contractors and maintenance personnel.

• Ensure that all building equipment are operating at their specified operating hours.
• Assist all technical personnel on the specification of all equipment and maintenance programs.
• Oversee the implementation of technical personnel’s activities and equipment service providers’ maintenance programs.
• Facilitate and implement all maintenance contract and agreement for all critical equipment.
• Provide sufficient stocks for all repairs and maintenance materials and implement stock card system for proper documentation.
• Monitor & record all utilities consumption (electricity, water and diesel fuel) and compare utilization with the approved budget.
• Implement the Energy Management Plan for coordination with the building representatives as well as the contractual technical personnel.
• Continuously develop and implement ways to improve the appearance and efficiency of the property and its equipment.
• Take part in the testing and commissioning of all equipment and machineries in accordance with the proper T&C procedures.
• Conduct regular inspection of resident fit-out units. Monitor compliance with the approved fit-out guidelines and approved plans.
• Ensure submission of relevant permits and insurance pertaining to unit renovation.

Qualifications

• Preferably with 2-3 years working experience as a Building/Property or Facilities Engineer in residential properties or office buildings.
