Job summary

ASCENSION PHILDEVELOPERS INC. in Metro Manila is seeking a Licensed Embalmer to provide dignified care for the deceased, conduct initial assessments, document remarks, and coordinate with the Management and Sr Funeral Director on recommendations.

The role emphasizes adherence to DOH embalming procedures, proper handling of transfers, and thorough sanitation, documentation, and incident reporting. A supportive, respectful workplace offers stability and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid embalmer license.
• Experience in funeral services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an initial assessment of the body condition, fill up the embalmer's remark form, and properly communicate with the Management, Branch OIC/ Sr Funeral Director with proper recommendations.
• Ensure that all deceased transfers under our care receive the utmost respect and proper care.
• Observe and perform the standard operating procedures in embalming a deceased following the Department of Health (DOH) requirements.
• Signs the Death Certificate of the Deceased after performing the embalming procedure. Records Embalming and incidents and other irregularities such as accidents, urges, and any untoward event before, during, and after the embalming procedure on the Embalming Logbook;
• Report similar incidents to the management, branch OIC/senior funeral director.
• Reports client feedback concerning services, personnel attitudes, and conduct, be it positive or negative, for assessment purposes.
• Performs other tasks and functions as assigned by management.
