Job summary

Triton Construction and Development Corporation (TCDC) is seeking a Professional Electrical Engineer to lead planning, design review, supervision, testing, and commissioning of electrical works for ongoing projects in construction.

The role ensures compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and safety standards, reviews plans and technical documents, conducts regular site inspections, and coordinates with the project team and authorities. Sign/seal of technical reports may be required.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate electrical plans, designs, specifications, and other technical documents prior to and during project implementation.
• Supervise and monitor all electrical works, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, auxiliary systems, and other related electrical installations.
• Ensure that electrical works are performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), and other applicable government regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure proper installation, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other concerned personnel regarding electrical concerns and project requirements.
• Prepare, review, and sign/seal electrical plans, designs, reports, certifications, and other technical documents as authorized and required under applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor project progress and identify electrical issues, deficiencies, and potential risks, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, energization, and turnover of electrical systems and installations.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health standards during the implementation of electrical works.
• Coordinate with government agencies, utility providers, and other regulatory bodies regarding permits, inspections, and electrical compliance requirements.

About the role
