About the role

Leading and managing the Electrical Design Team during all stages of project design and development. Design, develop, inspect, test, review and analyze electrical systems and designs and supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for a variety of uses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Electrical Design Team during all stages of project design and development

• Guide the design team to ensure strict adherence to approved designs and ensuring completeness, constructability and code compliance

• Design, develop, inspect, test, review and analyze electrical systems and designs

• Supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems

• Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and application by designing and conducting research and applying knowledge of electricity and materials

• Participate in preparation of contracts, using various construction methodologies and provide recommendations for the best option prior to execution at site

• Sign and seal electrical plans for permits

About you

• Must be a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer

• Proficient in AUTOCAD

• Working knowledge on local Electrical and Building Codes and Standards

• Can work comfortably under pressure

• Knowledge in Solar Designing is a plus
