Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Licensed/Registered Professional Electrical Engineer.
3–5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial building operations.

Responsibilities

Manage the building’s main electrical distribution, transformers, switchgears, and motor controls.
Oversee testing, maintenance, and reliability of emergency diesel generators, UPS, and ATS.
Design and track preventive maintenance schedules to reduce outages.
Diagnose electrical faults to minimize tenant disruption.
Evaluate design plans, load calculations, and panel schedules for renovations and fit-outs.
Monitor third-party contractor installations for safety and code compliance.
Assist in commissioning of upgraded building services.
Ensure compliance with NEC and workplace safety standards.
Analyze power consumption and spearhead energy-saving initiatives.
Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and purchasing for spares.
