Job summary

Seda Vertis North is seeking a Duty Engineer to support day-to-day operations, maintenance, and reliability of the hotel's engineering systems. Licensed Mechanical Engineer is required, with at least 2 years in engineering or facilities operations.

Ideal candidates will monitor HVAC and building systems, conduct preventive maintenance, and respond to maintenance requests. The role involves shifts and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a valid Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in engineering, maintenance, or facilities operations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and preventive maintenance practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills; able to work shifts and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and building systems to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of hotel equipment and facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and engineering-related concerns.
