Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group is seeking a Duty Engineer to oversee the property's maintenance and ensure guest comfort and safety.

You will lead the maintenance team, develop preventative plans, manage the budget, and coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping and local authorities. The role requires a licensed Mechanical Engineer with hotel engineering experience and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer with proven property maintenance experience.
• Strong managerial and leadership skills with hands-on approach.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and hospitality standards.
• Minimum 1–3 years work experience in hotel engineering; supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to resolve conflicts and collaborate across departments; excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration and life safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the guest rooms maintenance program and coordinate with relevant departments to schedule works.
• Develop and supervise preventative maintenance schedules for mechanical and electrical equipment and fixtures.
• Manage departmental budget and inventory; monitor costs and productivity.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper training; enforce hotel policies and procedures.
• Maintain monthly reports and performance standards; build relationships with stakeholders.
