Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a licensed Building Engineer to oversee the operation of an office/commercial building. The candidate must hold a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and have at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in tenant-facing environments.

Immediate availability is preferred. The role includes monitoring utilities, maintaining building conditions, training junior staff, addressing tenant concerns, and ensuring safety and ISO compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Engineer with a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Building Engineer or similar role (office/commercial buildings preferred).
• Experience in tenant relations is preferred.
• Available to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Monitors building utilities (electricity, water, LPG) and prepares monthly consumption reports.
• Inspects and maintains the cleanliness, upkeep, and overall condition of the building and its surroundings.
• Trains and guides new engineers and technicians on building operations and maintenance.
• Addresses tenants' facility-related concerns and coordinates corrective actions.
• Implements and oversees emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Conducts regular building inspections and prepares corresponding reports.
• Ensures all facilities comply with ISO 9001 standards, regulations, and building codes.
