Job summary

Maya is seeking a Lending Business Specialist to drive growth and improve customer experience in lending products. You will analyze data, identify opportunities, and collaborate with product, risk, and tech teams to implement scalable lending solutions.

Responsibilities include end-to-end analytics, refining strategies, and reporting to management. A 2–3 year background in growth or project roles and strong Excel/Tableau skills are preferred in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics or related programs.
• 2–3 years in business development, growth roles, or project management.
• Understanding of financial management, credit and risk management.
• Ability to analyze data, customer behavior and market trends to drive decisions.
• Experience building business cases and scalable lending operations processes.
• Advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint; Tableau or similar data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze metrics across the lending funnel to provide insights.
• Refine lending strategies, pricing, and segmentation using data-driven insights.
• Identify growth opportunities across target segments and ecosystems.
• Collaborate with product, risk, tech, and operations to deliver solutions.
• Lead end-to-end data analytics lifecycle: problem definition, design, data gathering, analysis, visualization.
• Improve customer journey, approval process, and turnaround time.
• Work with risk and credit teams to optimize underwriting frameworks.
• Ensure high quality and accuracy of results for management reporting.
• Deliver periodic and ad hoc analytics to business leads.
• Assist in managing the lending portfolio and remediation of issues.
